Job summary

VIP Medical Group is hiring a Medical Sonographer to support our Long Beach, CA location. You will perform venous duplex ultrasounds, DVT ruling, and post-procedure scans, while preparing rooms and equipment per safety protocols. The role includes medical intakes, EMR note entry, sterile setup, HIPAA-compliant privacy, and equipment care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography.
• EMR systems proficiency.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
• RVT or RVS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
