Job summary

The role requires ARDMS/RDMS credentials as applicable, with per diem or part-time schedule options and no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School in Sonography.
• Typically requires 2 years of sonographer experience.
• Proficiency in general and vascular sonographic procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and cardiac studies.
• Differentiates normal vs. pathologic findings and reviews patient history.
• Documents findings, assigns labels, and ensures accurate billing codes.
• Maintains equipment and supports staff as a preceptor when needed.
• Contributes to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
