Job summary

Advocate Health’s Vascular Imaging Services in Wisconsin seeks a part-time ultrasound technologist to perform general, vascular and cardiac studies with a focus on patient care. You will review records, select probes, adjust settings for quality images, and communicate findings to physicians.

Casual per diem hours, no weekends or holidays, and no on-call requirements. ARDMS(RDMS abdomen/OB-GYN), RVT, VS, RVS, and BLS within 6 months are preferred; 2+ years experience typical.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Reviews patient records and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Positions patient and selects transducer and factors for accurate imaging.
• Documents findings and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Maintains accurate labeling and enters data into the radiology information system.
