Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2–5 years valve repair experience or equivalent.
• Familiar with tools and machinery required for valve repair.
• Experience repairing various valves and actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to perform basic math and unit conversions as needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct field supervision to crews.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with contract and purchaser procedures.
• Perform work per the Site Plan of the Day (POD).
• Ensure all quality control hold points are satisfied.
• Verify and approve seat acceptance checks (blue, paper, etc.).
• Resolve production issues and review scope of work for adequacy.
