Job summary

Riley Power Group in Homestead, FL is hiring Safety Relief Valve Technicians to support inspections, testing and refurbishment of safety relief valves across industrial facilities. This on-site role requires hands-on mechanical skill and the ability to follow procedures.

You will perform bench tests, offsite refurbishments as needed, document findings, and ensure compliance with site codes and purchaser procedures. A high school diploma or GED and 3 years valve repair experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years industrial relief valve repair experience.
• Familiar with tools and machinery used in daily valve repair duties.
• Experience repairing valves and actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and write routine reports.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and refurbish relief valves from various manufacturers.
• Evaluate condition, parts usability, and document findings per site procedures.
• Perform bench tests (set-point, seat leakage, bellows) and supervise offsite refurbishments when required.
• Prepare valves for shipment and reinstall in system after testing; document work.
