Job summary

PBM Inc. in Irwin, PA is seeking a CAD Designer to support the design, development, and documentation of sanitary, industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and food valve products.

You will create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for ball valves and related components, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of CAD design experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and Documentation: Create and maintain detailed 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models of ball valves, valve components, assemblies, accessories, and tooling.
• Develop part, assembly, and fabrication drawings including dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, materials, and BOMs.
• Generate exploded assembly views, installation drawings, service manuals, instruction sheets, and technical documentation.
