Job summary

Bray International, Inc. is seeking a Drafter Designer to create detailed 3D models and precise drawings of mechanical valves and components. You will work with the design team to ensure accurate geometry, tolerances, and documentation for manufacturing and quality purposes.

The role requires strong CAD skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, familiarity with ERP data, and ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year degree in Mechanical Drafting is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, including part design, assemblies, and PDM file management.
• Certifications such as SolidWorks CAD Design Professional are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and working drawings of valve components with accurate dimensions.
• Maintain records of drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials with revisions and change orders.
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret design intent and resolve issues.
• Review specifications and translate them into drawings and procedural instructions.
• Ensure drawings meet engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Produce exploded views and assembly drawings to guide production.
