Job summary

System One, including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., is seeking a CAD Designer to create and maintain CAD drawings and 3D models for valve components. The role is onsite in Irwin, PA, with direct-hire employment and compensation of $65,000.00–$75,000.00 annually.

The candidate will develop installation drawings, support product development, and ensure designs meet GD&T and manufacturing standards. Proficiency in Creo/SolidWorks/Inventor/AutoCAD and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, CAD Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of CAD design experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of drafting standards, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with machining processes (CNC turning, milling, grinding, assembly).
• Valve design or ERP/PLM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CAD drawings and 3D models for valve components and assemblies.
• Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and materials specified.
• Develop installation drawings and service documentation.
• Update drawings based on engineering changes, manufacturing feedback, and customer needs.
• Support new product development and design modifications.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure designs are manufacturable and compliant.
• Apply GD&T standards and support prototype testing.
• Assist with tooling and fixture design for production efficiency.
