Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions in Indiana is seeking an Associate for valve body disassembly. You will disassemble valve bodies, clean components, and prep for reassembly using drills, burnishers, and hand tools in a production setting.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (6:30am–3:00pm) with wage increases based on performance, access to medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO after 30 days, holidays, a 401(k) plan with company match, ESOP, and an onsite fitness center.

Job Overview

Crawford – Valve Body Disassembly

The Associate would be responsible for disassembling the valve bodies, cleaning the component parts, and prepping the valve bodies for reassembly by using tools such as drills, burnishers and light tools such as screw drivers and mallets.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Overtime Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 15lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx.…8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as gauges, drills, screw drivers and mallets.
• Standing: Frequently
• Walking: Occasionally
• Sitting: Never
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally

Salary and Benefits

• Starting rate $20.00
