Job summary

Jasper Engines is seeking workers for the JCC Core Line Disassembly role, performing engine disassembly and related tasks in a fast-paced production setting.

Work involves using basic hand tools, air tools, hoist equipment and computers, with emphasis on safety, accuracy and attention to detail while meeting daily production goals.

Shifts Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, with lifting up to 40lbs and standing long hours as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform prolonged standing.
• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools.
• Disassembly of engines requires attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble entire gas or diesel engine unit using hand tools.
• Remove timing components, pistons, heads, etc.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with safety and quality focus.

JCC Core Line Disassembly

Job Overview:

The JCC is divided into the following stations: Disassembly, Blasting and Repair/Final Inspection. All positions will utilize basic hand tools, air tools, hoist equipment and computers. Positions may be required to lift up to 40lbs. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong hand dexterity, problem solving skills. This is a fast-paced environment.

Disassembly

Disassemble entire gas or diesel engine unit. Which includes removing timing components, pistons, heads, etc. using basic hand-tools such as hammer, drill, impact, screwdrivers, etc.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 40lbs.


• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)


• The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.


• Walking: Frequently


• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally.


• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
