Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a hands-on associate for disassembling pumps and valve bodies, cleaning parts, and preparing components for reassembly. The role requires use of drills, reamers, and various handheld tools in a climate-controlled, on-site environment.

The position offers a 6:30am–3:00pm Monday–Friday schedule, with a starting rate of $20.00 per hour based on experience, plus opportunities for wage increases, PTO, holidays, and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as impact, screw drivers, pliers, hammer/mallets.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble pumps and valve bodies.
• Clean component parts and prep for reassembly.
• Ream valve bores and prep for reassembly using drills and reamers.
• Use light tools during reassembly.

Power Drive Transmission – POD 733- Valve Body Disassembly

Job Overview:

The associate would be responsible for disassembling the pumps & valve bodies, cleaning the component parts, reaming the valve bores, and prepping the pumps & valve bodies for reassembly by using tools such as drills and reamers and light tools such as screw drivers and mallets.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as impact, screw drivers, pliers, hammer/mallets.
• Walking: frequently
• Stooping (forward leaning): occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: never
