Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Inc. is seeking an Assembler - Valves for the 2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:30pm) to assemble components for military/aerospace products.

You will work under supervision, following visual, verbal, and written instructions and observe strict standards, with a 10% shift differential after training. Responsibilities include preparing components, inspecting parts, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-5+ years of small component assembly in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control and cost efficiency.
• Strong verbal and written communication; reading comprehension of work documents; basic computer skills.
• Abilities: color vision, depth perception, manual dexterity; interpret prints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks for subassemblies or completed assemblies.
• Prepare components, clean, mark and inspect parts; test finished assemblies.
• Operate equipment (e.g., Die Attach, Wire Bonder, X‑ray machines).
• Identify issues and report to supervisor; participate in 5S and continuous improvement.
• Cross-train within the cell and support safety policies.
