Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking an Assembler I for the 2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:30pm) to assemble valves for military and FDA‑regulated products under close supervision.

You will perform subassemblies, prepare and inspect components, operate microscopes and equipment like Die Attach, Wire Bonder and X‑Ray machines, and follow OSHA safety practices.

This temp role offers overtime and a 10% shift differential after training; IPC soldering certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of small component assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control.
• Ability to interpret production or engineering prints and wiring diagrams.
• IPC soldering certification is preferred and beneficial.
• Strong reading and comprehension of English technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subassemblies or finished assemblies per instructions.
• Prepare components, clean, mark and inspect before assembly.
• Operate Die Attach Machine, Wire Bonder and X‑Ray equipment.
• Maintain health and safety procedures per OSHA and policy.
• Participate in 5S, CBS initiatives and team improvement meetings.
• Overtime as required.
