Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Inc. is seeking an Assembler - Valves in Burbank, CA. You will perform assembly of valve components under supervision, following military, FDA, and Crane standards, using manuals and visual guides.

The role involves handling microscopes, quality checks, and working with lean manufacturing methods to maintain high accuracy. The team operates in a clean manufacturing environment with a 5:30am–2:00pm shift, offering growth opportunities within aerospace and defense.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of small component assembly in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control and related techniques.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; reading comprehension of work documents.
• Vision and dexterity requirements; color vision and depth perception.
• Ability to interpret production or engineering prints and assembly aids.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned assembly tasks for subassemblies or completed assemblies.
• Prepare, clean, inspect components and test finished assemblies.
• Operate equipment such as Die Attach Machine, Wire Bonder, X-Ray machines.
• Follow health and safety procedures; report issues affecting quality.
• Support Lean initiatives (CBS, 5S); may train in multiple processes.
