Andersen Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor (Value Stream Supervisor I) to support continuous improvement from procurement to delivery. The role leads a small, skilled team to meet safety, quality, cost, customer service, and development targets on the value stream.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing/warehouse operation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate people.
• Demonstrated experience implementing continuous improvements.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, support, and develop a team of flexible, multi-skilled associates in accordance with Andersen Corporation’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction; maintain a respectful work environment.
• Review general status of production schedules to identify and resolve problems.
• Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through standard work and training to those standards, operation and inspection techniques, and use of data; review production schedules to identify and resolve problems.
• Support lean practices by training and coaching to improve standard work and 5S; drive housekeeping and change leadership.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging associates to challenge processes and implement solutions.
• Support associates in understanding company policies and take corrective action to improve team performance; maintain time and production records.
• Communicate with and listen to associates daily regarding performance, policy changes, safety, quality; coordinate with supervisors on equipment and schedules.
