Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor (Value Stream Supervisor I) to lead a small value stream from procurement to delivery. You will coach a multi-skilled team, ensure safety, quality, cost targets and on-time performance.

You will use standard work, 5S, and lean practices to improve processes, train associates, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining policy compliance and a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years leadership in manufacturing/warehouse
• Demonstrated ability to motivate people
• Experience implementing continuous improvements
• Lean certification preferred
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop a team of multi-skilled associates within the value stream.
• Review production schedules and resolve problems to meet targets.
• Ensure product quality using standard work, training, and inspection techniques.
• Support and implement lean processes, 5S, and workplace organization.
• Communicate with supervisors and plant leadership on performance and safety.
