Job summary

Andersen Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor (Value Stream Supervisor I) in Virginia to lead a small value stream from procurement to delivery. You will drive safety, quality, cost, and customer service while developing associates and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes lean practices, training, 5S, and teamwork with a focus on meeting targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing/warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate people.
• Experience implementing continuous improvements.
• Experience applying manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Continuing education in management, HR, accounting, and manufacturing.
• Assoc or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Lean certification.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, and develop a team of flexible, multi-skilled associates.
• Review production schedules to identify and resolve problems.
• Ensure product quality through standard work and training.
• Support lean initiatives and 5S, improving work center organization.
• Foster continuous improvement and challenge existing processes.
• Communicate with associates and supervisors on performance and safety.
