Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead a defined value stream, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. You will direct supervisors and frontline teams to align resources with customer demand and business goals, reporting to the Plant Manager.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and people development, with accountability for KPIs across safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities within the value stream to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives.
• Manage resource allocation, staffing, capacity, and production priorities to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure execution of the production plan and adherence to operational schedules.
• Address production constraints and implement solutions that improve performance and workflow.
• Build a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Develop leadership capability and succession plans within the value stream.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
