Job summary

RTX is seeking a Value Stream Manager for off-shift operations in Richardson, TX. The role coordinates 2nd shift production across fabrication, diamond-point turning, coating and assembly teams, ensuring schedules, safety, and quality standards are met.

You will lead a multi-shift workforce, manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, analyze production data, and provide cost and performance reporting to leadership. This position is onsite and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to motivate, manage and inspire a multi-shift production team to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with production management software and computer systems.
• Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions and take corrective actions.
• Strong organizational skills for planning schedules and coordinating multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor production schedules, allocate labor across shifts, manage inventories, and assign tasks to meet deadlines and customer needs.
• Establish and enforce quality standards, ensure reliable materials and equipment, and oversee health and safety protocols.
• Manage operational budgets, control production costs, minimize waste, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Supervise the manufacturing process, resolve production issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
• Analyze production data, identify improvement opportunities, and prepare performance and cost reports for management.
