Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Value Stream Team Leader to oversee one or more plant value streams and implement Parker Lean and Win Strategy to improve safety, quality and cost.

You will lead daily operations, develop standardized work, train team members, and partner with the Value Stream Manager to map the future state and drive continuous improvement across shifts. Strong leadership, Lean experience and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years’ management or supervisory experience.
• Background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, HR and inventory control.
• Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding; promote safety, new ideas and positive change.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with LEAN teams or leading LEAN teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation of one or more plant value streams and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead daily operations and coordination between shifts to create a continuous product flow.
• Develop standardized work and ensure safety and 5S compliance.
• Provide cross-training and empower team members; encourage problem-solving at source.
• Collaborate with the Value Stream Manager to map future state value streams and track progress.
