Job summary

OPW, a Dover Corporation company, seeks a Value Stream Manager in Hamilton, Ohio, to coordinate production activities and optimize resources while safeguarding quality and controlling costs. You will apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive safety, delivery, and productivity across the value stream on both shop floor and interfaces with sales, engineering, quality, maintenance, and shipping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering / business.
• 5+ years of experience in supervisory role preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• Strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities to optimize resources, minimize costs and maintain quality.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma events to increase productivity.
• Review daily production schedule and take appropriate action to meet shipping schedules.
• Oversee the supply chain function in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager and team.
• Supervise and coach a team of 6.
