Job summary

OPW Global in Hamilton, Ohio, seeks a Value Stream Manager to coordinate production activities and optimize resources, costs, and quality. This role uses Lean/Six Sigma methods to improve Safety, Delivery, Productivity and Cost while motivating a team.

You will supervise a team of 6, collaborate with sales, engineering, quality, maintenance and shipping, review daily schedules and ensure on-time, safe shipping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience expected to drive process improvements.
• Ability to work with unions and office staff to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production to meet output and quality goals.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma events to boost productivity.
• Maintain communication with sales, engineering, quality, maintenance and shipping.
• Oversee daily production schedule to ensure on-time shipping.
