Job summary

Web-Industries- Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Value Stream Leader to coordinate a start-to-finish product family and drive Lean improvements. You will manage daily production, implement standard work, and lead cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements while controlling costs.

Experience with Lean Six Sigma, strong communication, and the ability to influence both hourly and salaried staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years leading manufacturing teams with increasing responsibility.
• 5+ years of Continuous Improvement using Lean Six Sigma and visual factory.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience driving Lean manufacturing principles and meaningful metrics.
• Experience interacting with customers at high levels of the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication.
• Facilitation and coaching across functions.
• Ability to lead organizational change and overcome resistance.
• High level of plant floor presence and process knowledge.
• Engaging employees at all levels to identify solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Value Stream Map for a start-to-finish product family.
• Coordinate daily production activities and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead lean process activities, standard work, KPIs, 6S, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and HR to meet objectives.
• GEMBA Walks to develop learnings and opportunities for improvement.
• Execute the operational team plan to meet annual goals.
• Maintain value stream boards and daily status reports; participate in daily operations meetings.
• Plan and requisition materials to meet production schedules and manage inventory variances.
• Partner with customers to understand needs and ensure service standards.
