Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead one product value stream within the machine shop, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met. You will coordinate supervisors, engineers, and operators to drive performance across planning, materials, and production activities.

The role focuses on continuous improvement using Lean methods and developing roadmaps for operational excellence, with collaboration across engineering and quality teams to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 7+ years in manufacturing leadership, preferably machining/metalworking.
• Experience leading 50+ employees in a production setting.
• Strong Lean knowledge and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team within the value stream.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs.
• Collaborate with planning, materials, and supply chain teams.
• Lead Lean initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, SMED, standard work.
