Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Director of Value Based Care Operations & Execution to lead the end-to-end execution of enterprise value-based care programs. You will coordinate clinical, financial, analytics, and operational stakeholders to ensure measurable outcomes and alignment with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10 years of experience.
• In lieu of degree, 12+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of value-based care programs and align delivery with requirements.
• Drive cross-functional execution, ensuring timely delivery and accountability.
• Identify and remove operational barriers to program implementation and ongoing execution.
• Establish workflows, governance, and accountability across programs.
• Ensure readiness for new program implementations, contract changes, and model updates.
• Oversee initiatives to improve program delivery and provider engagement.
• Translate insights into actionable operational changes with performance and analytics teams.
• Align processes with contractual requirements, measurement methodologies, and financial expectations.
• Prioritize and sequence operational initiatives across enterprise stakeholders.
• Act as escalation point for complex operational issues in program execution.
• Lead the creation of standardized processes supporting attribution, reporting inputs, and delivery.
• Provide updates to leadership on execution progress, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Build and lead a team responsible for value-based care program operations and delivery.
