Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Director of Value Based Care Operations & Execution to lead the operational delivery of value-based care programs across the enterprise. You will coordinate across a federated environment, aligning clinical, network, finance, analytics, and operational stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes.

You will build and lead a team, establish governance and workflows, and partner with performance, finance, and strategy to translate insights into actionable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience.
• In lieu of degree, 12+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of value-based care programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and align stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve operational barriers to execution.
• Establish governance, workflows, and accountability structures.
• Ensure readiness for new program implementations and changes.
• Oversee initiatives to improve program delivery and provider engagement.
• Partner with performance, finance, and strategy teams.
• Translate insights into actionable operational changes.
• Drive prioritization across enterprise stakeholders.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Lead standardized processes for attribution, reporting inputs, and execution.
• Provide updates on progress, risks, and mitigations.
• Build and lead a team for value-based care program operations.
