Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Director of Value Based Care Operations & Execution to lead the operational delivery of value-based care programs across the enterprise. You will coordinate clinical, network, finance, actuarial, analytics, and operational stakeholders to ensure programs are executed at scale and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will partner with performance, finance, and strategy teams while owning execution accountability, establishing governance, and driving operational discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience.
• In lieu of degree, 12+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of value-based care programs and ensure operational delivery.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and accountability across stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve barriers to program implementation and execution.
• Establish workflows, governance, and accountability across programs.
• Ensure readiness for new program implementations and model updates.
• Oversee initiatives to improve provider engagement and program delivery.
• Translate insights from performance analytics into operational changes.
• Align processes with contracts, measurement methods, and financial expectations.
• Prioritize operational initiatives across enterprise stakeholders.
• Escalate complex operational issues impacting execution.
• Lead standardized processes for attribution, reporting inputs, and execution.
• Provide leadership updates on progress, risks, and mitigations.
• Build and lead a team for value-based care program operations.
