Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Global Category Lead - Value & Access, Associate Director to partner with Global and US leaders. You will shape category strategy across pricing, HEOR, and supplier governance, driving OPEX productivity and GTN outcomes while aligning with enterprise value.

Exceptional procurement and financial acumen are essential. You will build supplier ecosystems, influence cross-functional teams, and develop multi-year strategies to deliver value in market access and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s or equivalent with extensive business partnering in marketing or related areas.
• Experience in value & access, pricing, reimbursement or related fields is preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to translate complex pricing into procurement actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end category strategy across pricing, access services and supplier governance.
• Partner with Global and US Value & Access leaders to align procurement with business roadmaps.
• Build multi-year category strategies, sourcing plans and value levers.
• Develop supplier ecosystems and drive GTN and OPEX improvements.
• Establish KPIs, governance and adoption of procurement-led initiatives.

Doctorate degree + 3 years partnering

Master’s degree + 5 years partnering

Bachelor’s degree + 7 years partnering

Associate’s degree + 12 years partnering

High school diploma / GED + 14 years partnering
