Job summary

Amgen seeks a Global Category Lead for Business Intelligence to define partnerships, governance, and value realization across US & Global Marketing. You will lead strategies, enable enterprise-wide initiatives, and position Procurement as a strategic driver within the organization.

The role requires senior-level expertise in BI procurement, change management, and stakeholder alignment across global teams, with a strong track record in delivering measurable value.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience.
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience.
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of business partnering, marketing, and/or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Trusted advisor & market expert delivering insights into market dynamics and supplier capabilities.
• Forge strategic partnerships with Global and US Marketing to align priorities and category strategies.
• Develop category strategies using market intelligence for cohesive value delivery.
• Partner with suppliers to co-create solutions and drive innovation.
• Provide deep category expertise to advance business development and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance to quantify value and influence budgeting and P&L.
• Drive adoption of procurement-led initiatives across stakeholders.
• Bridge procurement performance with enterprise objectives through measurable actions.
