Job summary

Amgen is seeking a seasoned Value & Access Insights Senior Manager to lead analytical efforts across US payer strategies for OaR products. You will partner with Global and US V&A, US Coverage & Pricing, Market Access, and patient access teams to deliver dashboards and launch-ready tools.

You will synthesize primary and secondary data to guide reimbursement strategies, working in a complex US healthcare environment to ensure patient access to therapies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2+ years relevant experience OR
• Master’s with 4+ years relevant experience OR
• Bachelor’s with 6 years relevant experience OR
• Associate’s with 10 years relevant experience OR
• High school diploma/GED with 12 years relevant experience
• Preferred qualifications include experience with new product/indication launches in cardio metabolic disease and understanding of PBM/account/formulary structures and contracting processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build payer analytics and weekly NBRx/TRx tracking
• Evaluate capabilities to generate actionable pricing, coverage, demand and affordability data
• Develop Obesity-specific modules within Contracting-IQ
• Triangulate data sources to refine employer segmentation and targeting
• Design Employer-specific modules within Contracting-IQ to support direct employer contracting
• Build CAP-AI for Obesity for dynamic copay/patient access
• Collaborate with Payer Marketing, Pricing/Contracting and Brand Marketing teams
• Understand datasets (IQVIA LAAD, Symphony Claims, IQVIA NPA, IQVIA DDD) and Payor Coverage MMIT/Clarivate
