Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking an experienced Global Category Lead - Value & Access, Associate Director, to lead end-to-end category strategies across consulting, analytics, data, and pricing. You will partner with Global and US Value & Access teams to drive value, governance, and supplier innovation.

The role demands strong procurement acumen in market access, GTN, and OPEX optimization, with a track record of cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or higher with 3+ years of business partnering/marketing experience.
• Master’s with 5+ years of business partnering/marketing experience.
• Bachelor’s with 7+ years of business partnering/marketing experience.
• Associate’s with 12+ years of business partnering/marketing experience.
• High school diploma / GED with 14+ years of business partnering/marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor on supplier capabilities, market dynamics, and best practices.
• Build relationships with Global and US Value & Access stakeholders and align procurement priorities with roadmaps.
• Develop multi-year category strategies across consulting, analytics, data, pricing, and access services.
• Create supplier ecosystems with analytics, technology, and new operating models to improve outcomes.
• Structure commercial models balancing capability, quality, flexibility, and total value.
• Partner with Finance and Value & Access leaders to improve OPEX productivity and GTN performance.
