Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an experienced Business Valuation Director to join our growing Valuation practice in Atlanta, GA. You will lead complex engagements, manage client relationships, and provide technical leadership to valuation teams across transactions, financial reporting and tax planning.

You will mentor staff, drive practice development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver defensible valuations while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field.
• At least 12 years' experience in business valuation, corporate finance, transaction advisory or related discipline.
• Experience leading complex business valuation engagements and managing multiple engagements.
• Strong business-development capabilities and a track record of client/referral relationships.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex business valuation engagements from initial scoping through final delivery.
• Serve as the primary client contact and oversee engagement quality, timing, and budgets.
• Develop engagement scopes, work plans, budgets, staffing models and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical leadership on valuation matters across mergers, acquisitions and financial reporting.
• Mentor managers, senior consultants and analysts; support talent development.
• Drive business development and expand client relationships; travel as needed.
