Job summary

CLA is seeking a Valuation Director/Manager to lead valuation services across financial reporting, M&A, and strategic planning in a professional services setting. You will manage projects involving enterprises, IP, and complex instruments, and review reports for rigor and defensibility.

As a leader, you will supervise Associates and Seniors, mentor staff, and collaborate with Assurance and Tax teams while driving automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 6 years of valuation experience or similar consulting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ABV, ASA, CVA or related designation.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency with valuation standards and complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation projects involving business enterprises, IP, and complex instruments.
• Oversee valuations of equity, debt, derivatives and structured securities.
• Review valuation reports and models for rigor and defensibility.
• Deliver valuation support for forensic, litigation, and investigations.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Associates and Seniors, reviewing deliverables.
