Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) seeks a Valuation Director/Manager to lead complex engagements for financial reporting, M&A, and litigation support. You will supervise associates, develop rigorous methodologies, and ensure defensible analyses.

This role emphasizes client relationships, business development, and collaboration with Assurance and Tax teams, with opportunities to mentor and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in valuation or a similar consulting practice/function servicing clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ABV, ASA, CVA, or related designation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency with valuation standards and complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation projects involving business enterprises, intellectual property, intangible assets, and complex financial instruments.
• Oversee valuations of equity, debt, derivatives, and structured securities for regulatory, transactional, and litigation purposes.
• Review and approve valuation reports and financial models for rigor and defensibility.
• Design and execute financial models to support litigation strategies and compliance assessments.
• Cultivate and manage client relationships, contributing to proposals and representing the practice.
