Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in the United States is seeking a seasoned Valuation Director/Manager to lead complex business valuations including entities, IP, and financial instruments, supporting financial reporting, M&A, and litigation. You will supervise Associates and Seniors, review models, and ensure defensible conclusions.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Assurance and Tax teams, development of automation tools, and involvement in business development and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ABV, ASA, CVA or related designation is preferred.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency with valuation standards and complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation projects involving business enterprises, IP, intangible assets, and complex financial instruments.
• Oversee valuations of equity, debt, derivatives, and structured securities for regulatory, transactional, and litigation purposes.
• Review and approve valuation reports and financial models for rigor, defensibility, and relevance.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve valuation issues for clients.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Associates, Seniors, reviewing their analysis and deliverables.
