Job summary

Liquid Strategies, an Atlanta-based investment firm, seeks a Valuation Associate to own valuation for interval funds and complex assets, including private credit. The role reports to CFO with exposure to senior leadership and boards.

You’ll work with Portfolio Management, Fund Management, and Finance to ensure rigorous, well-supported valuations. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in valuation, a degree in Accounting (or related field), and experience with investment accounting platforms like

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Advent APX or similar investment accounting platforms.
Experience preparing board materials, investment memoranda, or operational documentation
Experience interacting with fund administrators and external service providers.
Experience with interval funds, closed-end funds, alternative investments, or private credit strategies.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end valuation process for interval funds and other alternative investment strategies with exposure to private credit.
Perform valuation analyses and develop well-supported fair value conclusions.
Develop understanding of funds and investments, partnering with Portfolio and Fund Management.
Drive recurring valuation process across stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare valuation reports and analyses for senior leadership and committees.
Serve as primary valuation contact for external auditors and support audit procedures.
Coordinate valuation governance and committee decisions, with leadership opportunities.
