Job summary

Arrow Search Partners seeks a reactive finance professional with 2–4 years of private credit valuations experience to support the valuation processes and reporting for a global investment platform. You will analyze performance drivers, liaise with investment teams, and maintain detailed valuation documentation for quarterly reviews.

The role requires strong financial modelling skills, understanding of fund structures, and the ability to explain valuation dynamics across assets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review portfolio company performance and identify key drivers.
• Communicate with investment team, analyze financial reporting and outlooks.
• Own the quarterly third-party valuation process and liaise with valuation firms.
• Maintain supporting documentation and updates for the valuation committee.
• Update asset-level and fund-level models and explain changes.
• Explain major drivers causing differences in actual vs expected fund performance.
• Assess capital calls based on cash position and deal pipeline.
• Propose hedging options for foreign-denominated deals.

Our client is a global alternative investment firm that invests across private and public markets, with strategies spanning growth equity, private credit, and other alternative asset classes. The firm partners with companies and management teams across a range of industries and stages of growth, leveraging a global platform and flexible investment approach.

Responsibilities

• Review company performance and understand key performance drivers while identifying potential issues before they occur
• Communicate with investment team members, analyze portfolio company financial reporting, and understand outlook of each portfolio company
• Own the quarterly third-party valuation process including liaising with third-party valuation firms
• Maintain supporting documentation including presentations and communication with valuation committee
• Update asset-level and fund-level models and explain changes
• Work with accounting team to understand and explain major drivers causing differences in expected vs actual fund performance
• Work with the operations team to determine whether a capital call is necessary based on the fund’s cash position, leverage availability, and deal pipeline
• Propose and support the best hedging option for foreign-denominated deals based on each asset’s specific context
