Job summary

Great American Group is seeking a Sr Analyst in Chicago, IL, to deliver tangible asset valuations and advisory services for a diverse client base. The role involves analyzing financial data, building statistical models, and contributing to reports for engagements across multiple industries.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with opportunities for growth, collaboration with senior management, and exposure to valuation, tax, engineering and financial consulting services.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, accounting, finance, economics, business or similar from an accredited college/university.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel operations.
• Demonstrated strong level of computer skills to include, Microsoft Office applications, as well as other office software products in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and interpret client provided financial and operational data.
• Create statistical models and exhibits showing engagement conclusions and calculations.
• Apply valuation techniques (market, income, cost) on valuation engagements.
• Participate in mgmt interviews with the subject company to gather data.
• Perform inspections of machinery, buildings, and land improvements.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and maintain all workpapers.
