Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) invites high school graduates to join the V.O.L.T. Program—a paid, full‑time, three‑year career track with hands‑on training in warehouse operations, counter sales, inside sales, and customer service.

As a VOLT Trainee you will learn product knowledge, business systems, and branch operations while earning real wages and mentorship, with the goal of transitioning into a permanent role across USESI's regional network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• No prior electrical distribution experience required.
• Must be able to work full‑time and onsite.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse and branch environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service mindset.
• Positive attitude and commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands‑on experience in warehouse operations, counter sales, inside sales, and customer service.
• Learn product knowledge in the electrical distribution industry and use business systems.
• Support order entry, quotes, transfers, and customer support.
• Participate in hands‑on training and mentorship throughout the program.

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. is launching the V.O.L.T. Program, which stands for Valuable Opportunities & Leadership Training. This paid, full‑time, three‑year career program is designed for high school graduates who want hands‑on experience, mentorship, and long‑term growth in the electrical distribution industry. After successful completion of the program, you will transition into a permanent role with USESI.

As a V.O.L.T. Trainee, you will earn while you learn by gaining real‑world experience in warehouse operations, counter sales, inside sales, customer service, product knowledge, business systems, and branch operations. You will work with real customers, products, and processes while receiving guidance, training, and support throughout the program.
