Job summary

Benchmark Transitions, Montclair campus, is seeking a Licensed Therapist for the Valor Program to provide Veteran-specific clinical services within a residential treatment setting. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, individual, group, and family therapy, and development of personalized treatment plans for Veterans.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, ensure timely documentation in the EMR, and support discharge and reintegration planning while maintaining high clinical standards

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral-health discipline.
• Active California clinical license appropriate to the discipline (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist).
• Experience in trauma and trauma-related disorders assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy within a residential setting.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and complete clinical assessments.
• Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation and safety monitoring (suicidality, self-harm, etc.).
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary and coordinate with leadership for higher-level care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for discharge and reintegration planning.
