Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a Test Engineer to bring rigor, curiosity, and practical engineering judgment to the product development process. You will define performance expectations and develop validation plans for vegetation management equipment designed to perform in demanding environments.

You will work closely with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Operations, Sales, and customers to translate requirements into actionable test results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, or related engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in product testing, validation, development, or a closely related role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to lead projects across teams.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical test methods and documentation.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define product performance expectations, project priorities, and validation requirements with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and execute thorough test and validation plans for individual components and complete equipment systems.
• Coordinate product testing with Engineering and R&D, ensuring the right resources, timing, and technical focus are in place.
• Analyze test data, prepare clear reports for internal and external audiences, and recommend product or process improvements.
• Build and maintain testing policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation that strengthen consistency and quality.
• Research and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment that support effective testing activities.
• Conduct site, customer, and field testing as needed, while managing project-related testing costs and resources.
