Job summary

Cintal is seeking a Controls Engineer to validate and test machine controls, collect performance data, troubleshoot CAN, Ethernet, and control systems, and support software flashing, calibration, and system integration on heavy/off-highway equipment.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues, perform field testing, and apply 1+ years of experience in controls engineering and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
• 1+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, Validation, or Testing.
• Experience with machine controls, CAN communication, and Ethernet networks.
• Familiarity with software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
• Experience with data collection, troubleshooting, and validation testing.
• Exposure to heavy equipment, automotive, or off-highway machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine controls validation and testing.
• Collect, analyze, and report machine performance data.
• Troubleshoot control systems, CAN, and Ethernet communication issues.
