Job summary

SP Plus Corporation is hiring for a valet attendant role in the Kansas City area. The position involves greeting guests, ensuring timely service, and safely parking and retrieving vehicles. You will assist with hiring, training, and coaching a valet team, and manage staffing schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a minimal high school diploma and a valid driver's license. The role requires strong communication, adaptability, sound judgment, and the ability to lift up to 25

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months related experience or training.
• Driver's license valid with acceptable driving record; may need to drive manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously.
• Ensure customers receive timely service.
• Assist customers in and out of their vehicle.
• Drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles safely and professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching valet team.
• Create staffing schedules based on expected daily volume.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and safety of vehicles/keys.
• Prepare daily paperwork per audit standards.
• Keep drive lanes/areas clean of debris and spills.
• Develop and implement a staging plan to maximize capacity.
• Identify vehicle makes/models quickly; know basic vehicle operations.
• Substitute for any position when needed.
