Job summary

The Bower Coronado in Coronado, CA is seeking a guest services attendant to greet and assist guests, manage luggage, and support valet operations at the hotel. You will ensure safety features are explained and help guests with information about local services and attractions.

You will coordinate with other departments, handle daily paperwork, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient guest experience while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver license.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Must have good customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage.
• Inform guests of services, facilities, attractions and safety features.
• Store luggage on request and assist with loading/unloading into vehicles.
• Call taxi for guests as requested.
• Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork; supervise baggage transfers.
• Maintain the check-in station for organization and efficiency.
• Assist with transporting boxes and supplies for other departments.
• Promote a positive working environment and follow policies.
• Complete daily tasks including valet stand, driveway, and bell carts upkeep.
