Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Purchasing Co-op for our Paper Mill operations. The role supports requisitions, PO creation, and vendor management, with exposure to pulp and paper manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with teams to ensure policy compliance and timely procurement. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant program, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Must be a student in good standing with the University.
• Enrolled majoring in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business or equivalent applicable program.
• GPA min 3.0; must pass drug screen and be eligible to work in the US.
• PCA’s mills operate 24/7; ability to work long hours and all shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders.
• Ensure accuracy of the vendor management system.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with purchasing policies.
• Record PO confirmations, validate insurance requirements, and ensure stock needs are met.
