Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, equipment, supplies, and services at the lowest cost consistent with quality and service requirements.
• Review requisitions, specifications, quotations, proposals, and vendor performance.
• Issue purchase orders, write contracts, and expedite material receipt to sustain mill operations.
• Coordinate with accounts payable to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Assist mill customers with optimal material inventory levels.
• Achieve cost savings and participate in supplier negotiations.
