Job summary

Novant Health in North Carolina seeks an experienced RN to join the Ventricular Assist Device Clinic as a VAD Coordinator. You will guide patients through every stage of the VAD journey, coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings, and provide education and support to patients and families.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes, demonstrate leadership, and use data-driven approaches.

Qualifications

• RN license in NC or compact state required.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of three years of clinical RN experience.
• Demonstrates interdisciplinary leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and data/presentation abilities.
• ICU/Cardiac experience required.
• CCRN preferred.

What We Offer

Outpatient RN- Ventricular Assist Device Clinic

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p, and On-Call
• Department: Ventricular Assistive Device (VAD) Clinic
• Location: New Hanover Regional Medical Center

What You'll Do

Join a dedicated team transforming the lives of patients with advanced heart failure. As a VAD Coordinator, you will guide patients through every stage of their VAD journey, coordinating care across settings, providing education and support, and serving as a key resource for patients and families.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you'll coordinate care, educate patients and caregivers, and help achieve the best possible outcomes across inpatient and outpatient settings.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN.
• Experience: Minimum three years of clinical RN experience, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse in NC or compact state, required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Demonstrates interdisciplinary leadership skills, superior interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of computer database, data analysis and presentation skills.
• ICU / Cardiac experience is required
• CCRN Preferred
