Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC seeks a Clinical Services Nurse II/III/IV/VAD Coordinator to provide advanced nursing care for patients with VADs and coordinate pre- and post-implant care within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited BSN program.
• Current unrestricted RN license with ACLS and BLS.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with 1 year in VAD care.

Aufgaben

• Provide advanced nursing care for patients before and after VAD implant.
• Coordinate evaluation for pre‑VAD patients to ensure efficient resource use.
• Assess post‑VAD patient function and determine need for intervention.
• Develop and implement VAD care protocols with multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver preoperative education and postdischarge preparation for patients and families.
• Coach nursing staff and participate in education programs.
