Job summary

Elbit America in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic focused on vacuum maintenance to support production equipment. Responsibilities include installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of high and low vacuum systems in clean room areas.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent maintenance/electronic experience, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and familiarity with tools like DVMs, leak detectors and

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent years of experience in maintenance/electronic.
Good mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum technology, control systems.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain and troubleshoot production and facilities equipment using a variety of tools including DVMs, RGAs and leak detection.
Perform complete electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance from low voltage DC to AC voltages up to 480 volts.
Complete inspections and logs as required.
Handle compressed gas cylinders and material handling equipment per EHS requirements.
Inventory spare parts for equipment.
