Job summary

Elbit America in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic focused on vacuum maintenance to support production equipment. Responsibilities include installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of high and low vacuum systems in clean room areas.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent years of experience in maintenance/electronic.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum technology, control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot production and facilities equipment using a variety of tools including DVMs, RGAs and leak detection.
• Perform complete electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance from low voltage DC to AC voltages up to 480 volts.
• Complete inspections and logs as required.
• Handle compressed gas cylinders and material handling equipment per EHS requirements.
• Inventory spare parts for equipment.
