Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of on-hand experience in high or ultra-high vacuum systems.

• Familiarity with stainless steel piping, fittings, valves, and cleanroom procedures.
• Experience with thin film deposition, semiconductor, or scientific instrumentation environments is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Precise welding ability required.
• Familiarity with machine shop environment
• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or related technical field preferred.

Job description

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise with vacuum equipment, pumps, gauges, and related instrumentation, along with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain systems to ensure optimal performance.

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000/annual based on experience

This schedule includes longer workdays-9 hours and 45 minutes with a mandatory 45-minute lunch break. One week consists of four workdays (36 hours), and the following week includes five workdays (45 hours). Despite this variation, employees are paid for a consistent 40-hour workweek, with weekly pay.
